DIY Tiny Message/Photo in a Bottle

What you’ll need:

• a tiny bottle
• a tiny picture
• some yarn and a needle
• scissors

The tiny bottle

I found mine at Woolworth and paid 2€ for four bottles. They had a variety of different sizes (even smaller ones). Probably your local craft store will sell those too and if you can’t find them anywhere, Amazon to the rescue.

The tiny picture

Copy and paste the picture you chose to Microsoft Word and adjust its size. You want to make it really small. My first print was too big for the bottle but the second one was perfect. (My pictures width is only about 1cm).

Instructions:

#1: Cut out the picture.

I wanted it to look like a tiny polaroid picture so I left a bigger border at the bottom than on the rest of the picture.

#2: Cut out a same sized second piece of paper to glue on the backside of the picture.

#3: Place double-sided tape on the plain piece of paper.

#4: Take some yarn, insert the thread into the needle, and push the needle through the cork.

#5: Press the yarn on top of the double-sided tape and put your picture on top of that.

#6: Carefully put the picture into the bottle.

Tadaaa! I told you it’s easy. Learn more about DIY crafts that make money.
